My interest in photography started with the whim of a friend. One day, while showing off his new camera, he gave me his old one. It was a manual 35mm Olympus. This camera got a lot of use when we took our children (Chris & Megan) to the local park. Later it became a tool at work, documenting the changes taking place, turning an old turkey farm into a world class vineyard and winery. Somewhere between the park and the winery, a passion grew for the art of photography.
Much of my work is closely tied to the land at Stoller Vineyards , where I work, and Vista Balloon Adventures, where my wife, Kelly, is a hot air balloon pilot. Many thanks to these folks for participating in my dream.
I truly enjoy the quiet time I spend among the vineyards in the Dundee Hills area and in and around the Willamette Valley. Living in Dayton, Oregon helps with the early morning shots of the wine country, as the commute is short. The Oregon wine industry has exploded over the last decade, offering unlimited opportunity to create a huge variety of vineyard photographs .
Thank you for visiting my website. I’m pleased to share with you some of my Oregon vineyard photos , Hot air balloon photos , floral and miscellany images. Please stop by from time to time, as the images will be rotated regularly!
Please contact me if I can be of service to you.
